Tara Estra, DVM is a graduate of Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Estra has particular interests in small animal nutrition, pain management, dermatology, internal medicine and behavior. She has been a guest lecturer at Veterinary Centers of America (VCA), the Capital District Veterinary Medical Society(NY)'s continuing education program and at Cornell Vet school. She has been an active volunteer with Guiding Eyes for the Blind for over fifteen years, raising and training guide dog puppies and currently providing veterinary care for the Capital District region of Guiding Eyes. Dr. Estra spent eight years prior to veterinary school as an award-winning producer of television news and documentaries in New York City.

Maria Accumanno, LVT joined the Canterbury team in 2008. She graduated from SUNY , Morrisville in 2001 with a degree in Equine Science and Management. In her spare time, Maria enjoys horseback riding, snowboarding, roller blading and spending time with her horse, Echo; cats - Arlo, Cocoa, Kitton, Sookie, Sophia and Stella; Goats - Fidget and Josephine and her rabbit, Pheffer.

Andrea Sebeck joined our team as a Veterinary Assistant in 2010. Andrea is a 1997 graduate of Cazenovia College with a Bachelor's Degree in Interior/Environmental Design. Andrea worked for the past 11 years as an Interior Designer/Account Executive in Albany, designing offices and office buildings. Her true passion is working with animals; Andrea is the organizer of the Albany Beagle Meetup Group and a volunteer dog walker at the Mohawk Hudson River Humane Society. Outside of work, you will find Andrea hiking and kayaking with her dogs Baylee and Shilo.
Shraddha Cantara is a 2007 graduate of Juniata College with a B.S. in Biology. Originally from Pittsburgh, she moved to Delmar in the summer of 2010 to start a graduate program in Biology at SUNY Albany. She aspires to be a veterinarian and will be applying to Veterinary Schools in the near future.Shraddha has worked as a Veterinary Assistant in the past and enjoys working with people and their pets. In her spare time Shraddha enjoys spending time with her husband and her cats, Meeko and Gadget.
